What is ORSI?

What is ORSI-KA?

The Bangalore Chapter of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), founded by late Prof. B.G. Raghavendra, started functioning at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore from August 31, 1988. Based on the minutes of 2019 ORSI Central Council Meeting and the 2019-AGM held at Ahmedabad during Dec. 2019, the ORSI Bangalore Chapter registered as an independent professional society in the name of ORSI-Karnataka (ORSI-KA) and obtained PAN for filing the income tax directly by ORSI-KA.
When was ORSI formed?

The Operational Research Society of India was founded in 1957 with its headquarters at Delhi. In 1971, it was shifted to Kolkata.

How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is simple! Just follow these steps: 1. Create an Account: • If you’re new, sign up for an account. • Already have an account? Simply log in. 2. Choose a Plan: • Visit the Plans and Pricing page and select the plan that best suits your needs. 3. Make the Payment: • Complete the payment process using debit/credit card, UPI, or other available methods. • Note down your Payment Reference ID for future use. 4. Submit the Membership Form: • After payment, fill out the provided form with your details, including the Payment Reference ID. 5. Confirmation Mail: • You will receive a confirmation email once we verify your payment. 6. Membership Verification: • After reviewing your details, we will send you your unique Membership ID. Congratulations! You’re now a member.
What should I do if I have made the payment and received a payment confirmation email but have not yet received my Membership ID?

If you have completed the payment but have not yet received your Membership ID, it is likely because the required form has not been filled out. Filling out the form is a crucial step, as it allows us to verify your payment details and process your membership. Without this information, we cannot assign you a Membership ID. Please ensure that you complete the form post-payment, providing all necessary details, including your Payment Reference ID. Once we verify your information, your Membership ID will be sent to you via email.
I have done all the above steps. Still I haven't received my Membership ID?
